JOB BRIEF (PURPOSE)
Manage KeyBank’s internal funds transfer pricing (FTP) process including the administration and maintenance of the conceptual framework and methodologies, management of the daily rate setting process, communications with a diverse set of personnel of all experience levels, and maintaining alignment of the FTP framework and Key’s liquidity, funding and interest rate risk management practices. Be a trusted advisor to Key’s lines of business, product teams and the LOB Finance department on all FTP topics including consulting on product pricing and valuations, FTP education and other Treasury-related topics. This position reports to Treasury’s Decision Support Manager and would include direct reports.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Manage the end-to-end administration of FTP with a focus on continuous improvement and effectiveness.
• Be an expert on FTP methodology and assumptions, partnering with the Management Reporting and Financial Systems team and other data and analytical teams to ensure the proper methodologies are applied to financial systems and product modeling
• Maintain a high level of effective communication with Key’s lines of business, product groups, Finance Team, Management Reporting and Financial Systems, and internal groups of Corporate Treasury including participating in Treasury Strategy Committee
• Lead and oversee analytics related to FTP including forecasting, Funding Center/Mismatch reporting, and assumption development/updates
• Lead monthly FTP Committee meetings with senior management, including agenda setting, preparing materials and directing follow up research and communications
• Over time, be able to expertly translate Treasury risk management concepts and strategies to the lines of business through FTP, employ knowledge gained within Treasury to support the lines of business in achieving their objectives
• Develop and manage others directly or indirectly involved in the FTP process
• Stay connected to the economic environment including interest rates and other market factors and translate to FTP concepts
• Ensures compliance with Key’s Risk Management policies

MARGINAL OR PERIPHERAL FUNCTIONS
• Establish and maintain strong communication channels with Finance Directors and CFOs
• Ensure compliance with internal control standards and processes
• Stay informed of capital markets trends, new product and pricing developments
• Emphasize functional skill and career development for financial staff
• Leverage the opportunity to learn a variety of Treasury activities such as understanding financial market rates and events, interest rate risk, liquidity risk and balance sheet management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Seven years or more of Corporate Treasury experience, or at a minimum banking and finance experience
• Seasoned manager with extensive loan, deposit and capital markets product knowledge
• Masters Degree in Finance, Economics or professional certification (CPA, CFA) is preferred
• Proficient in FTP methodology, interest rate risk, liquidity risk and funding risk concepts
