ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF)

Manage the financial support for the Enterprise Commercial Payments segment in Key’s Corporate Bank. Active participation as a member of the operating committee for the segment, including responsibility for planning and forecasting, management reporting and analysis, product and business profitability analysis, valuation accounting for investments, establishment and maintenance of financial controls, as well as other finance related issues for this segment. Responsible for driving current period results as well as future expectations through direct management participation, financial analysis, pricing, balance sheet management, forecasting, and strategic partnership and planning. Management and development of an analyst team, providing critical feedback, employee development plans, and performance evaluations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS



• Provide oversight and accounting knowledge for sound reporting and financial management


  • Develop accurate and credible financial plans and forecasts that are actionable and support manager’s decision making



• Participate in management of segment as the finance partner on operating committees


  • Partner closely with LOB and Corporate Treasury on deposit, funding, and liquidity strategies and tactics
  • Manage and develop team of analysts aligned to Enterprise Commercial Payments



• Provide critical thinking and leadership on analyses that involve strategy



• Provide effective leadership and management skills across a variety of functions and organizational levels

• Drives growth, profitability, and management of economic and risk capital through proactively seeking opportunities and mitigating risks

• Embeds new performance management practices and culture into respective LOB

• Collaborates with LOB and Finance Leaders across Key in strategic and financial planning

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



• Minimum 7 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or other financial field.

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or other financial field, MBA preferred

• Background in short and long range forecasting, cash flow modeling, present value analysis, accounting, regulatory environment, and business systems

• Thorough understanding of commercial payments products

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to work and build relationships within LOB and Finance

• Ability to collect, organize, and summarize data from various sources to derive actionable information for senior management

• Ability to work well in a team environment across various disciplines
