Enterprise Payments Risk Analyst

Key’s Enterprise Payments business ($1B+ revenue) comprises domestic and international payment offerings serving Key’s consumers, businesses, public entities and financial institutions across all segments. It entails all aspects of Key’s Consumer Debit and Credit Cards, Treasury Services, Commercial Card, International Trade and FX, Merchant Services and Payments Fintech partnerships; including product strategy, management, business development, implementation and support services.

Payments Monitoring and Portfolio Management team within Enterprise Payments business is charged with the design and execution of a comprehensive road map to own and manage risk, elevate the risk management culture and support sound profitable growth for Enterprise Payments.
About the role
  • Analysts build transferable skill sets by creating high-quality presentations, conducting analysis that supports product development & innovation, managing client risk, managing client portfolios, and conducting industry research. Primary job functions include:
  • Support and enhance the governance of Enterprise Payments 1st LOD risk management through reporting, KPIs, benchmarking, high risk client reviews, and cross-functional product and risk forums
  • Support the development of the framework, targets, and measurement of risk losses across Enterprise Payments
  • Partner with analytics and technology teams to develop the capabilities for more automation and real-time availability of reporting risk measures, behavioral analytics, etc.
  • Support active management of credit, operational and compliance risk exposures across product and client portfolio
  • Support development of a sound culture of managing risk throughout Enterprise Payments business by developing and enhancing training to support enterprise risk awareness, and the client escalation and resolution processes
  • Partner with internal and external partners to incorporate learnings from across the bank and the industry to calibrate our payments risk strategies and capabilities

What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Sciences, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics
  • 2+ years of experience in business analytics, financial modeling, strategy, or consulting
  • A high degree of adaptability, energy and intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to problem-solve and think strategically
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Focus on teamwork and collaboration
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, strong attention to detail, quality, speed and accuracy; ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Desire to develop personally and professionally
  • Experience with Tableau
  • Experience in Excel with an ability to manage large data sets, creating summary views using pivots tables, data graphs/visualizations
  • Ability to synthesize, create and clearly communicate complex topics in PowerPoint
