About the Job

This is a virtual/remote position which can be performed from most states within the United states. The Authentication & Middleware team is responsible for architecting, engineering, and maintaining production and non-production IBM Tivoli Access Manager (TAM), IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM), Tivoli Federated Identity Manager (TFIM), and IBM Tivoli Directory Server (TDS / LDAP) server/platform infrastructure environments. Ensuring platform availability and enabling development partners to deliver business functionality is vital to the success of this team.


The position will work closely with other technical teams and technologies on which these platforms reside or are dependent upon.

Essential Job Functions
- The ability to lead with little to no supervision
- Under limited supervision, support and engineering of KeyBank’s distributed middleware infrastructure
- Design and implement enterprise class integrations and middleware server infrastructure solutions

- Project lead role on medium to large enterprise projects
- Interact and communicate effectively with multiple teams
- Define high-level application platform architectural guidelines
- Set standards for administration of prod and non-prod environments
- Providing documentation and establish standards and guidelines across multiple environments on supported technologies
- Provide continuous improvement ideas to reduce expenses and/or improve efficiency
- Automate and streamline existing manual technical processes
- Perform and evaluate new product offerings and document findings/position
- Think critically about long-term technology strategy
- Produce service levels consistent with current business needs and future requirements
- Ensure the control, reliability, performance, and security of all distributed platforms
- Research/assess available distributed technologies in relation to the enterprise’s current and future needs.
- Act as mentor to more junior technical staff.


Required Qualifications
Required Skills: Technical
- Strong understanding of web security technologies and concepts
- Experience with the configuration and system management of reverse proxy / SSO tools such as IBM Tivoli Access Manager (TAM), IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM), or similar technologies such as PING or CA
- Familiar with IBM Tivoli Directory Server (LDAP) or a similar technology such as Active Directory or OpenLDAP
- Scripting / automation experience (Shell, PERL, Ruby, Python, Ansible, etc.)

- Working knowledge of relevant network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, HTTP, FTP, SSL, PKI, Firewall and DMZ concepts)
- Intermediate to advanced Linux and/or Unix knowledge
- Knowledge of web technologies and concepts (session cookies certificates encryption etc)
- Working knowledge of operating system administration and problem determination skills
