  • Accountable for collaborating with partners across various enterprise functions (Operations, Technology, Compliance, Client Experience) to design and implement a roadmap for holistic improvement in critical deposit policies.
  • Enhances deposit fee refund policies, procedures and strategy to balance client and employee experience, P&L optimization, process efficiency and fair treatment.
  • Accountable for improving the holds and funds availability strategy; acts as a funds availability policy expert with responsibility for improving related client experience through targeted reduction in hold rates while minimizing losses on deposits.
  • Transaction posting policy owner and champion for posting process changes that improve transparency in posting of transactions and enhance real time posting capabilities.
  • LOB accountability for non-fraud OD losses, working closely with Collections to improve overdraft recovery rates by minimizing deposit charge-offs and maximizing recovery of post charge off losses; partner with collections on roadmap to modernize collections tactics and improve recovery rates
  • Improves experience related to provisional credit for claims as well as overall client disputes experience, optimizing balance between regulatory compliance, operational efficiencies, client experience and P&L considerations.
  • Ensures transparency and accurate communication of deposit policies in disclosures, digital channels, branch, contact center and direct client communications to include identification of opportunities for improvement, benchmarking against industry best practices.
  • Lead teams cross functionally, including Sales and Marketing, Client Experience, Branch and Call Center Operations, Technology, and Legal and Compliance to ensure timely delivery of policy related projects.
  • Ownership and reporting of key policy related KPIs to include Fee Refund Rate, OD/NSF Override Rate, OD Charge-off Rate, Deposit Holds False Positive Rate, Non-Fraud Returned Deposited Items (RDI) Losses, Net Promotor Score (NPS) for funds availability & disputes.
  • Champion adherence to all policies and guidelines, across client facing channels and within Technology and Operations, ensuring full compliance with all laws and regulations.


  • 5+ years experience related to deposit policy, deposits operations and product management preferred
  • Financial and analytical thinking
  • Experience in designing and implementing new retail banking processes and experiences
  • Understanding of Retail Banking products and segment needs
  • Ability to think/act strategically, while delivering tactically with a keen focus on details
  • Strong business management presentation and Powerpoint skills.
  • Vendor relationship management capabilities
  • Proven ability to drive projects from concept to rollout in cooperation with various business units and third party partners
  • Self-starter and team player with a structured approach to achieve tight timelines on complex deliverables
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Finance preferred
  • Demonstrated communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
  • Working knowledge of PC (MS Windows and Office Products including Word, Excel, etc).
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once and prioritize delivery based on key objectives.
