ABOUT THE JOB

Responsible for the onboarding and ongoing support of continuous delivery project teams to maximize their success. Provides consulting to both technical and LOB staff assigned to project teams. Takes a leadership role in transforming Key’s technology project delivery to an agile / continuous delivery methodology. Provides training and coaching on all aspects of the project lifecycle / software development lifecycle. Demonstrates hands-on expertise with the continuous delivery toolset. Provides ongoing recommendations regarding process, tools and implementation roadmap.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Supports new Continuous Delivery project team onboarding
    • Introduction to the Continuous Delivery Playbook and related documentation resources
    • Identification of training needs and alignment of team members with appropriate training
    • Deliver training sessions for the Continuous Delivery teams
    • Determination of need for and availability of a dedicated Agile coach, followed by coach assignment or continued follow up as needed
    • Direction on the required standard tools, provisioning and configuration
    • Support KTO and LOB leadership in the creation/staffing of the squad / team as required
  • Actively engage with all Continuous Delivery teams to collect data and insights regarding team and process performance
  • Share learnings with the Continuous Delivery Center of Enablement for expanded visibility into opportunities for PLC/SDLC/tools/other process enhancements.
  • Leads discussions and provides recommendations within the monthly Continuous Delivery Center of Enablement forums
  • Provides coaching and training to support teams (including application support, ETS, QAS, others) as to their role in enabling successful Continuous Delivery practices
  • Hands-on assistance for Continuous Delivery teams with tools implementations and configurations,
  • Provides guidance to Continuous Delivery teams on fulfilling resource needs (team space, supplies, hardware, other)
  • Reviews sprint level metrics/reports for each squad and provides assistance and support as needed to help improve velocity
  • Advises Continuous Delivery teams on business case and portfolio/funding related actions and decisions
  • Ongoing interaction and partnership with QAS, ETS Build/Run and DevOps teams to identify and execute on opportunities for increased usage of automated testing and deployment practices
  • Expert in the tools utilized by the Continuous Delivery teams and engaged in ongoing work to improve / rationalize the toolset
  • Takes a leadership role in the Continuous Delivery transformation; change agent and change champion
  • Identifies risks and accountable for mitigating risk
  • Understands business functions and anticipates business needs. Focuses on business results (not technical results)

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

May work on other Project Management Office assignments depending on workload and staffing considerations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors or equivalent work experience
  • College degree in information technology, business, finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3 yrs, 5+ years’ preferred experience with agile project delivery practices
  • Self- starter with the ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Strong analysis, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, & Power Point)
  • Experience using various agile project delivery toolsets
  • Ability to prioritize across multiple large projects
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations to various stakeholder groups (includes line of business, technology and operations)
  • Ability to collaborate well with project team members and line of business stakeholders
  • Advanced knowledge of agile / continuous delivery concepts
  • Deep expertise in project methodology and software development lifecycle
