Job Description

Financial Crimes Governance (FCG) analyst performs the following duties as directed by the FCG Enterprise Team Manager: Review compliance regulations, guidance, enforcement actions, or other industry information related to financial crimes (BSA/AML/OFAC) and assess impact to Key’s program. Partner with Lines of Business and other risk partners to ensure appropriate action is taken to address regulatory expectations and to ensure Key maintains compliance with financial crimes regulatory requirements. Perform quality review internal policies, procedures, desktop procedures, training, and risk and control self-assessments (RCSA); provide feedback and direction to applicable parties. Perform other duties, support projects, and facilitate FCG processes as directed by the FCG Enterprise Team Manager.

  • Effectively partner and establish trusted relationships with LOB contacts (including, but not limited to, risk management partners, Compliance Training Team, Business Risk & Controls (BRC), and Enterprise Security Services)
  • Perform complex compliance tasks as assigned, (including, but not limited to, policy/procedure reviews, participation in new or existing system and operational implementation)
  • Lead the review and update of BSA, AML and OFAC related training content and oversee completion rates to ensure training is completed in a timely manner by employees.
  • Create Financial Crimes Governance related communications, partner with corporate communications, and maintain a schedule and
  • Support the FCG Enterprise Team Manager with engaging regulatory agencies and the Risk Review Group, to respond to examination information requests, address exam findings, and responding to comment letters
  • Lead the annual LOB procedure inventory and review process
  • Collaborate with the Chief AML Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, FCG Managers and LOB BRC Officers on compliance issues, initiatives and projects.
  • Support FCG projects with project facilitation, tracking and reporting.
  • Manage (non-violation related) regulatory issues for the corporation to ensure sustained resolution.
  • Provide senior managers with reports and information for the purpose of day to day follow-up on open Compliance issues, decision-making, tactical objectives, and strategic planning.
  • Special projects/other duties, as assigned.
  • Represent FCG in various corporate initiatives
  • Facilitate Continuous Improvement projects
  • Perform administrative functions as necessary (i.e., not limited to, setting up meetings, prepare meeting minutes.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, legal or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in banking, compliance or audit related activity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including group and executive presentations and meeting facilitation
  • Ability to effectively multi-task
  • Self-Motivated
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional relationship building skills
  • Knowledgeable about banking/business organizational structures and understanding of how to get things done through formal channels and informal networks.
  • PC Skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Lotus Notes database, SharePoint, and Outlook e-mail.)
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g. CRCM, CAMS, CSP)
  • Governance, Risk, and Compliance System (GRC) expertise
  • Project Management or experience with project management principles
  • Graduate degree/Law degree
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the operational, technical and functional structure of the Key organization
  • Knowledge of Key’s internal systems and AML Program
  • Knowledge and understanding of BSA/AML FFIEC Examination Manual
