Client Onboarding Mangers are charged with being the “end to end” owners of the client onboarding experience for Commercial Treasury & Card products. Following agreement to proceed with the deal, Client Onboarding Managers act as the primary contact and project manager from KeyBank to lead customers through the post-sales experience ensuring quick and effective adoption of new new products and services. The expertise delivered by this team, coupled with best in class technology being introduced in August 2016, will propel Key to the leader in the industry.


  • Owns client onboarding and implementation of Treasury & Card products and services , covering Community Bank sales teams
  • Directly interface with and lead the Client through the implementation process of the requested treasury solution from set up through hand-off to service team
  • Revalidate product feature and functionality with the clients to ensure full understanding of service to meet their business requirements.
  • Work closely with Sales, Product Management, Operations, IT and partners, coordinating all functional project tasks to ensure timely implementation of the product or service to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Track and manage all critical tasks and roles/responsibilities through the use of Standardized Task Plans and Tools
  • Escalate any product or client issues for timely resolution
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and make appropriate referrals
  • Delivers or coordinated delivery of standardized client training to meet the unique client business need.
  • Ensures adherence to compliance processes and procedures
  • Exceed expectations of clients as measured through client surveys.
  • Complete assigned implementations on time or early to accelerate revenue streams and client success.
  • Ensure Sales teams are enabled to focus on Sales by acting as trusted partner in owning client onboaring activities


  • Project management expertise
  • Deep operational knowledge of KeyBank systems and Treasury Services products
  • Handle complex situations and make decisions independently


  • 3-5 years experience with Treasury Services products –or--
  • 1 year experience with Treasury Services products and 2-4 years other relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred or equivalent work experience


  • Project Management or Business Analyst experience
  • Product Management experience


  • Standard office equipment


  • Will participate in Onboarding Boot Camp
