Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsible for new checking production units and consumer relationship household growth
Collaborates with marketing, branch network and digital channel to identify and implement annual acquisition roadmap and associated tactics (e.g., IC Plans, marketing plans, sales tactics)
Partners closely with Marketing to co-own annual checking acquisition and on boarding marketing plans, analyze results and identify opportunities to optimize marketing performance and investments
Designs new client onboarding tactics across channels to optimize early month on book engagement (months 0-6) to drive to relationship households and minimize attrition during the first 6 months on books
Leads checking production and household growth forecasting and associated plans in coordination with various product owners, Client Insights and Finance and partners with Payment Sponsors to analyze results, understand trends, identify and share best practices as well as to develop plans to optimize sales performance
Develop KPIs and performance scorecards along with weekly and monthly reporting that encompasses impact drivers to ensure product performance is met
Prepares monthly business reviews to highlight results and insights, complete with actionable recommendations.
Help establish deposit fraud metrics to ensure early fraud/charge-off (first 6 months) is in line with expectations
Optimizes acquisition account approval criteria to drive profitability (ChexSystems, Day 1, Day 2 processes)
Identifies and implements experience improvements to champion operational excellence, client satisfaction, and employee satisfaction with checking account origination and onboarding processes
Assess competitive landscape, industry trends and market demand as it relates to new checking products and services, including driving research needs.
Leads design of compelling new checking product solutions and acquisition strategies to drive relationship household growth – in line with Financial Wellness and future direction of payments business, including understanding the competitive checking product landscape; gathering voice of client/prospect/branch/executive; gaining alignment of proposed product strategy; working with technology to develop requirements and user testing; engaging teams to train branch and call center employees before/during/after product launch and coordinating with Marketing and Digital Channel to promote the new products.at launch and beyond to optimize performance
Drive the technology requirements for new product enhancements, including appropriate test planning.
Lead teams cross functional teams - Sales and Marketing, Client Experience, Branch and Call Center operations, Technology, Legal and Compliance - to ensure timely delivery of product management projects while keeping the leadership team informed at key milestones
Adheres to product policies and regulations to ensure all legal, compliance and audit standards are fully met.
Ability to work on multiple projects at once and prioritize delivery based on key objectives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience managing product strategy in banking/ financial services or related industry (e.g., management consulting)
Strong financial acumen via demonstrated experience with forecasting, balance sheets, and income statements
Robust analytical mindset and critical thinking skillset – including advanced knowledge of Excel.
Understanding of Retail Banking products and consumer segment needs
Undergraduate degree in a business related field or equivalent experience
Experience designing and implementing marketing plans (ideally across physical and digital distribution channels)
Ability to approach a situation and then identify and evaluate innovation solutions
Ability to synthesize a large amount of data into a succinct strategy story
Strong knowledge of PC tools (MS Windows and Office Products including Word, Excel, etc.).
Demonstrated communication skills and ability to work within a team environment..
Strong presentation and PowerPoint skills
