About the Job
Oracle Banking Platform (OBP) currently provides customer and account data; integration to backend systems; and fund transfer services to the Digital (Online Banking) and Physical (Call Center/Quest) channels. The Oracle Banking Platform 2.3 development team is responsible for delivering product enhancements and new capabilities as requested from the Community Bank lines of business and stakeholders.
The selected candidate will become an expert on the functional capabilities of OBP. He/she will interpret business requirements from consuming applications and translate into system specifications and mappings for OBP. The will perform assessment on new project requests; triage issues in test and production and perform light project management responsibilities.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Serve as functional point of contact/SME for OBP
  • Be an SME and provide solutions for OBP data flow and management
  • Own and lead the interpretation and documentation of business and system requirements
  • Gather and document the nonfunctional requirements; own the performance testing questionnaire
  • Work closely with business and technology partners
  • Create mapping documents for system integrations
  • Manage the Change Request Process
  • Assist with Intake Process by doing first assessment of new work
  • Manage the Change Control Process
  • Do analysis/triage of testing and support issues
  • Assist testing team by providing input on test strategy; clarifying requirements and suggesting testing approaches
  • Lead Requirement Gathering Meetings
  • Create business process and data flow diagrams
  • Backup/ Assist project manager with managing work plan, budget, issues, risks and timelines
Required Experience/Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4+ years of application requirements gathering and design, including process mapping and gap analysis
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in a technical environment
  • Basic knowledge of SOA/web services principals; experience using SOAPUI
  • Strong understanding of databases, SQL and tools (ie, SQLDeveloper)
  • Advance knowledge of MS Office suite, including Visio
  • Experience with software development methodologies (Waterfall and Agile/Scrum)
  • Thorough understanding of the SDLC
  • Excellent verbal, written and communications skills of both technical and non-technical content.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision; self-starter
  • Experience with project management responsibilities (budgets, project plans, etc.)
