Job Description

THIS POSITION CAN BE FILLED WITH EITHER A BUSINESS SERVICE OFFICER OR SENIOR BUSIENSS SERVICE OFFICER BASED ON THE SELECTED CANDIDATES EXPERIENCE AND SKILL.

ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF):
To provide relationship management support to enable assigned Relationship Manager(s) and sales teams to build and expand proactive sales efforts while maintaining required service level intensity and portfolio quality. To capitalize on opportunities to expand or retaining client relationships through cross- sale identification.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assists in managing customer relationships in conjunction with Business Service Center.
Monitors customer relationship to determine potential cross sell opportunities and takes a proactive role in customer retention.
Assists in the new application process and loan closing process.
Assists with administrative, operational and documentation efforts of Relationship Managers.
Fields incoming service requests, handles inquiries in an efficient and timely manner. Solves customer problems, first resolution.
Handles Loan documentation issues that involve the Loan Operations Departments and that necessitates customer involvement.
Knowledge of Bank’s financial relationship with clients (i.e., depository relationship, loans, leases, etc.) and easily access all information pertaining to such, and to address clients questions or concerns.
Understands core deposits and cash management products and affects set- up of all client deposit products.
Assures accuracy and timeliness of information systems supporting sales initiatives by maintaining call and deal tracking databases as needed, and by preparing and analyzing profitability reports on clients.
Assists RMs in call preparation including performing industry/client research, preparing agendas and sales proposals and the initiating all follow- up correspondence.
Also assists sales efforts by serving as back up for the automatic lead assignment process, sets call appointments, and introduces product to clients and prospects to effect cross sell opportunities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

BUSINESS SERVICE OFFICER:
Associate Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 1- 5 years related work experience
General to working knowledge of financial products and services.
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Great PC skills (Word, Excel, Power Point) and navigation of Internet.
Strong organization and follow up skills.
PC with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CWA, SAS, CRISP and other RMW applications.
General office equipment used.

SENIOR BUSINESS SERVICE OFFICER:
Associate Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3-5 years related work experience, typically at least 2 years in a business service role with demonstrated full performance.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
General to working knowledge of financial products and services.
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Great PC skills (Word, Excel, Power Point) and navigation of Internet.
Strong organization and follow up skills.
PC with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CWA, SAS, CRISP and other RMW applications.
General office equipment used.
