Job Description

The Business Resource Center Sales Specialist is responsible for deepening and enhancing Client relationships through outbound and inbound calls. The Sales Specialist will conduct onboarding calls to new and existing Clients to ensure a seamless integration to KeyBank and ensure our Clients are utilizing our products/services. The Sales Specialist must maintain a customer centric focus and work to quick solution issues as they arise. Superb business product knowledge is crucial to identify strong cross selling opportunities to help the business run as efficient and effective as possible.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, deepen and maintain new and existing Small Business relationships through onboarding/ Client outreach
  • Develop, deepen and maintain Small Business relationships through all new campaign efforts
  • Small Business product/service and partner acuity with the ability to identify and provide solutions for our Clients which includes DDA, lending solutions, KMS, Cash Management, KBO and Bill Pay.
  • May perform complex inquiries and resolutions as it relates to Portfolio Management (payoffs/pay downs etc.)
  • Handle customer inquiries and issues as they arise
  • Maintain strong relationship with existing customer base
  • Develop and then strive to meet and exceed established goals
  • Develop and maintain established internal partnerships within KeyBank
  • Identify strong cross selling opportunities throughout various departments in the Bank and follow referral procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • HS diploma or GED, Associates Degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service and/or call center experience
  • Minimum 1 year outbound sales experience
  • Computer proficiency is required
  • Superb product knowledge - financial products; small business products preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with others, including exhibiting a courteous and conscientious business-like manner in the workplace
  • Aptitude for working in a confidential, fast-pace, organized environment
