Job Description


Analyzes data from various sources to inform Key’s overall benefits and strategy and program offerings. Provides support to the development and implementation of Key’s wellness programs, lifestyle benefits, and medical, welfare and retirement plans. Supports development of content, communications, and engagement strategies for benefits and programs. Works with internal partners and third-party vendors to assess and report on the overall performance of Key’s benefit programs.

  • Analyzes wellness and benefit program effectiveness through aggregating reporting from external vendors and internal sources and creating reports for various audiences (Benefits team members, leaders, etc.)
  • Provides support for wellness programs and benefits projects including gathering feedback, development of recommendations, program planning and delivery, and evaluation
  • Analyzes employee feedback and health and demographic data about our employees to inform Key’s benefits and wellness programs, and build targeted communications and engagement strategies
  • Assists with the creation and updating of communications materials to support delivery of benefits and wellness programs
  • Manages and distributes targeted communications for benefits and wellness programs to employees, and evolves targeted communications approach based on data insights
  • Gathers and analyzes external industry trends and research to help inform Key’s overall benefits strategy and recommend changes to program offerings
  • Supports the management of third party vendor relationships
  • Supports technology related projects in the Benefits function to enhance employee experience and streamline internal processes
  • Analyzes performance guarantees and expenses and employee contributions. Analyzes data for pricing, plan designs
  • Assists with analyzing, administering, and communicating benefits programs.
  • Supports the various Management & Board Committees.


Leadership: No supervisory responsibilities. May provide occasional work guidance, technical advice and training to staff within scope of role.

Critical Thinking / Analysis to Insights: Work involves the application of moderately complex procedures and tasks that are quite varied. Independent judgment is often required to select and apply the most appropriate of available resources. Supervision is provided on an as needed basis.

Business Acumen: Developing baseline understanding of client strategy / industry knowledge and practice.

Presentation Development & Delivery: Developing skills in creating PowerPoint presentations; minimal formal delivery.

Communication Skills: Work involves baseline skills in written communication and ability to develop content, communications pieces, and reports independently with minimal proofreading and edits.

Program Coordination: Developing ability to coordinate programs end-to-end including developing programs based on data and insights, project planning, delivery, and program evaluation. Supervision is provided. Coordinates small scale programs independently.

Client Interaction / Relationship Building Skills: Supports Compensation & Benefits Leadership and team; some LOB client / Key employee interaction.

Consulting / Influence: Developing influencing skills through data analysis and presentation.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years business experience; HR, Benefits, Compensation or Finance experience preferred
  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Finance and business acumen
  • Strong analytic abilities
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail
  • Able to operate in a matrixed environment, receiving direction from both direct manager and indirect LOB Compensation or Benefits Manager
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both verbally and written

Location for this job is open with a preference for Cleveland, OH.
