ABOUT THE BUSINESS:
Key Technology and Operations (KTO) is Key Bank’s shared services organization for technology, operational, and servicing functions supporting business partners and clients across all lines of business. Within the overall organization, KTO provides efficient, reliable and secure technology; creates an effective variable cost technology delivery model that maximizes the return on IT spend; orchestrates the efficient use of corporate information and technology assets; and supports innovation that creates competitive distinction. KTO is effective and efficient in payment and deposit servicing, loan servicing, exception and dispute processing, investment and support services, sourcing and procurement, as well as enterprise-wide fraud prevention, investigations and operational support to human resources and the Bank’s BSA/AML program.

ABOUT THE JOB:
An Automation/Business Analyst on the Technology Support team is responsible for planning, developing, and executing the implementation of new automation processes. Collaborates directly with line of business partners/users to elicit requirements. Also responsible for design documentation, coding/developing the automation and implementing into production. Demonstrates strategic vision while being proactive in identifying ways to identify and improve processes to be more reliable and efficient.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Analytical thinking, ability to think with a strategic and innovative mindset.
  • Communicating effectively while working with a diverse population of business partners on the design, implementation, and validation of a new process automations.
  • Responsible for the development, configuration, and testing of automation processes to meet the defined requirements and standards set by the Center of Excellence.
  • Assists in transition to production.
  • Mentoring colleagues– providing advice and guidance on best practice and development techniques.
  • Utilizes a wide variety of open source technologies and tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT development, process engineering, architecture, or automation.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Solid technical background with programming experience and clear understanding of programming concepts.
  • Excellent understanding of desktop/web technologies. IT experience in software development in developing web applications, web services and client/server applications.
  • Experience with JavaScript, JSON, Web Services and C#.
  • Understanding of process design documents, policies, and technical design documents.

Preferred:
  • Experience in robotic process automation suite Automation Anywhere, AutoHotKey, etc.
    • Including Web-Based and Thick Clients
  • Understanding of version control software such as Git or Subversion.
  • Experience with continuous integration methodologies such as Jenkins, Concourse, Bamboo, etc.
  • Understanding of modern development and scripting languages such as Java, Python, Node, Powershell or Ruby.
  • Familiar with containers (Docker).
  • Experience with test driven development and testing frameworks such as xUnit, RSpec, Cucumber, etc.
  • Good understanding of various automation components and features available in Robotics Products.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (VBA, Macros, Excel Formulas)
  • Experience in VBScript
  • Understanding of Relational Database Experience (SQL)
