Job Description


Under direct supervision, provides general support to a department or group of professionals; performs administrative and clerical duties as assigned; compiles and analyzes basic information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials; prepares spreadsheets, charts and graphs; follows established procedures.


Reviews and prioritizes incoming calls, requests, communications and documents. Takes initiative to research, summarize and resolve matters of reasonable complexity. Asks appropriate clarifying questions, exercises judgment and provides information as appropriate. Proficiency answering the telephone in a professional, organized and friendly manner. Ability to handle conference calls, call transfers, and other related tasks.

Provides general administrative support including, but not limited to, calendar management, travel and expense management, coordination of meetings/teleconferences, file coordination and management, time/attendance management, systems input, general research and project assistance, word processing, spreadsheet creation, e-mail and mail communications. Manages and protects sensitive and confidential information.


- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an administrative support role
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively
- Follows direction and works independently on basic, routine matter
