Key is on an exciting journey of Digital Transformation, modernizing our legacy ecosystem to deliver digitized experiences for our clients and our employees. We are looking for talented and experienced leaders to help drive this mission at Key, and this role will specifically focus on our Account Origination modernization. As the Domain Manager for Account Origination, you will play a pivotal role in our transformation by driving the technology planning, execution and delivery of a new Omni-channel Account Origination solution for our Community Bank.

Reporting to the SVP, Business Technology Executive for Consumer Digital, the Account Origination Domain Manager will be responsible for driving cross-functional technical design and delivery of a new Retail Account Opening solution at Key. This new solution will transform the client and employee experience by leveraging modern technology frameworks, data, API integration and 3rd party partnerships to streamline and digitize the Account Opening process. Scope of this work includes transforming the front end user experience across our online, mobile and branch channels, as well as our back office underwriting and decision processes across retail deposit, credit card and lending products.
This individual will partner with our business, enterprise architecture and other technology leaders to develop a coordinated technology roadmap and release plan for our new Account Opening solution. This individual will provide leadership across multiple teams (leveraging a mix of Agile and Waterfall methodologies), and will act as a point of escalation and decision authority on this effort. ScrumMasters, analysts and engineers will report directly to this individual.
This position is highly visible and will have direct access and influence over executive leadership and decision making. Critical thinking, exceptional communication skills, core technical expertise and technology delivery experience are a must.

• Responsible for overall technology solution design, delivery and support of Account Opening capabilities across multiple platforms with complex integrations
• Evangelize continuous delivery approach leveraging Agile, automation, open APIs, 3rd party partnerships and modern technology frameworks
• Leverage data as a competitive advantage, giving thoughtful consideration to data organization and utilization
• Partner with business on development of business strategy, desired capabilities and relative prioritization to create overall solution design and roadmap with estimated cost of investment
• Think creatively about the application of technology to drive transformation while balancing impact to client experience, business outcomes and technology cost/complexity
• Create executive level content to communicate technology design, roadmap, delivery updates, critical decisions, risks and impacts
• Oversee the development and configuration of application(s) from conceptualization through implementation, including maintenance of the application(s) and 24/7 production support
• Manage vulnerability remediation to corporate SLAs; manage team participation in daily Incident Management call, ensuring appropriate communications and action around root cause summary, impact assessment and action plan on all incidents assigned to the team
• Track and manage technology spend against multi-million $ technology investment
• Marshal resources (people, funding, support) to get things done; orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal
• Attract, inspire and coach great talent


• Experience working in an Agile delivery environment
• Experience creating and managing large scale technology design, roadmap and execution
• Experience with design and development of REST services
• Experience with cloud enabled solutions, containers and DevOps tools
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess new and unfamiliar issues and work through potential solutions, issues, and risks
• Confidence in decisions made but ability to evaluate and counter alternative ideas and represent reasoning in various forums
• Strong people management and leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal, networking, communications and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Prior experience in large, diverse technology environment
• 10+ years software engineering experience
• Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration experience
• Understanding of technology architecture and integration patterns
