Key Equipment Finance 2020 Summer Internships

Join our team!
Key Equipment Finance ("KEF"), a division of KeyCorp, offers a number of paid, full-time internships each summer in its Superior, Colorado headquarters location. The internship program spans for approximately 10-14 weeks in the summer, with a potential to continue part-time during the following school year.

As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience working on various projects with a specific department. You will also have an opportunity to network with the senior management of KEF and other professionals across the company to give you a broad perspective of our business, including a trip to Key’s headquarters in Cleveland. In addition, there will be opportunities for interns to participate in classroom, self-study, and other training to broaden financial, accounting, communications, and other skills, as well as social and community service opportunities.

Examples of work our interns have been doing:
  • Using analytics to understand the critical drivers of sales success; building & leveraging relationships with sales leadership to ensure correct interpretation of data and creating dashboards using Tableau.
  • Researching business clients to aid sales in refining target client lists.
  • Partnering with marketing to develop email campaigns and then analyze results.
  • Using financial statements, industry research, and other research to analyze potential and existing clients’ ability to repay debt over time.
  • Learning the business through a variety of projects to aid operations functions.

What are we looking for?
Qualified applicants will have:
  • Upper-level undergraduate or graduate student in business, mathematics, economics or other applicable program
  • A minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities
  • Analytical, insight generation, decision-making and logic skills
  • Interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft® Office applications, especially Excel
