2020 Sales & Trading Summer Analyst Program – New York, NY

The Summer Analyst program provides an excellent opportunity for senior-level banker and client exposure and higher, immediate “hands-on” experience.

The KeyBanc Capital Markets® robust fixed-income sales, trading and distribution platform supports all our debt capital markets and municipal bond transactions. We help issuers achieve the best execution for their debt sold in the public and private debt markets. Located in offices nationwide, more than 100 professionals bring expertise in both domestic and international transactions by managing new issue transactions, and providing market color and trade ideas.

Job duties may include:

A large portion of the internship is spent shadowing trading desks and assisting sales teams to develop real world insights and experience from sales and trading professionals. This program will help to develop a deeper understanding of the capital markets, and fixed income and equity products. Interns will also have an opportunity to demonstrate what they learned by creating and presenting either their own stock recommendation or fixed income trading strategy.

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduating with a degree May 2021 with relevant coursework in finance, accounting and/or economics
  • Outstanding academic achievement (minimum GPA 3.5)
  • Relevant work or internship experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated positions of responsibility and leadership
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Eligibility to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
