2020 Debt Capital Markets Summer Analyst Program – Cleveland, Ohio

The Summer Analyst program provides an excellent opportunity for senior-level banker and client exposure and higher, immediate “hands-on” experience.

The Debt Capital Markets team structures, markets, and executes debt financing transactions for corporate and sponsor (private equity) clients in a wide range of industries. Common financing scenarios include acquisitions, dividend recapitalizations, debt refinancing, leveraged buyouts, and working capital facilities. The Debt Capital Markets team raises debt capital for clients primarily through the bank, institutional term loan, high yield & investment grade bond markets.

Job duties may include:
• Assist in drafting client “pitch books”, confidential information memoranda, lender presentations, and internal distribution committee analyses
• Perform comparable company analyses
• Analyze historical and projected financial information and assist senior bankers in brainstorming creative solutions for clients

Required Qualifications:
• Graduating with a degree May 2021 with relevant coursework in finance, accounting and/or economics
• Outstanding academic achievement (minimum GPA 3.5)
• Relevant work or internship experience
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Demonstrated positions of responsibility and leadership
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Eligibility to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
