KeyBanc Capital Markets (KBCM) is seeking an energetic, client-focused individual to join our Capital Markets Analyst Program in July 2020.

The Corporate Banking Group serves clients across the middle-market, in a variety of capacities spanning the breadth of Corporate and Investment Banking disciplines. From a Corporate Banking perspective, these capabilities include Lending, Leasing and Commercial Payments solutions. From an Investment Banking perspective, capabilities extend across Debt & Equity Capital Markets, Derivatives, Foreign Exchange and Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory. With clients ranging in revenue from $100 million to over $5 billion, Corporate Banking has served as a trusted advisor to middle-market companies across a variety of economic cycles.

Job Functions May Include:
  • Work with investment bankers and product partners on strategic alternative idea generation and pitches, corporate finance opportunities, and public and private, equity and debt, capital raising transactions.
  • Perform financial modeling and valuation analysis on public and private companies: comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis
  • Generating ideas and analytical materials in support of new client meetings
  • Developing marketing materials for topics such as company positioning, financing alternatives, and strategic alternatives
  • Developing knowledge of relevant information resources: Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Thomson Financial, Pitchbook and 451 Research
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related coursework
  • Relevant work or internship experience
  • Outstanding academic achievement (minimum 3.5 GPA preferred)
  • Strong accounting and/or financial acumen
  • Good analytical and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Relevant work or internship experience
  • Eligibility to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
