About the Job:
This is a virtual/remote position which can be performed from most states within the United states. The Web Middleware Platform Delivery team is responsible for architecting and engineering non-production and production environments. Including DataPower, TAM/ISAM, webMethods, FileNet, Business Process Management, Java Application Server and other web-centric infrastructure environments at Key. Ensuring platform delivery and enabling development partners to deliver business functionality is vital to the success of this team. The position will work closely with other technical teams and technologies on which these platforms reside or are dependent upon.

Essential Job Functions:
- The ability to lead with little to no supervision
- Under limited supervision, support and engineering of KeyBank’s distributed middleware infrastructure
- Design and implement enterprise class integrations and middleware server infrastructure solutions
- Participate on project teams for the purpose of implementing applications on DataPower, TAM/ISAM, webMethods, FileNet, Business Process Management, Java Application Server and other web-centric infrastructure platforms
- Project lead role on medium to large enterprise projects
- Interact and communicate effectively with multiple teams
- Define high-level application platform architectural guidelines
- Set standards for administration of prod and non-prod environments
- Provide documentation and establish standards and guidelines across multiple environments on supported technologies
- Provide continuous improvement ideas to reduce expenses and/or improve efficiency
- Automate and streamline existing manual technical processes
- Perform and evaluate new product offerings and document findings/position
- Think critically about long-term technology strategy
- Produce service levels consistent with current business needs and future requirements
- Ensure the control, reliability, performance, and security of all distributed platforms
- Research/assess available distributed technologies in relation to the enterprise’s current and future needs.
- Act as mentor to more junior technical staff.

Required Skills: Technical
- 5+ years of IT experience
- Strong understanding of web technologies and concepts
- Familiar with DataPower configurations for Web Service Proxies, XML firewalls and multi-protocol gateways
- Familiar with webMethods configuration and system management
- Familiar with ISAM configuration and system management
- Working knowledge of IBM LDAP
- Working knowledge of WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment or similar technology such as WebLogic, JBOSS, Tomcat, Apache, IBM Liberty
- Familiar in the following technologies is helpful, but not required: FileNet, Captiva, and Lombardi (BPM)
- Experience with content management technology (SDL Tridion)
- Scripting / automation experience (Shell, PERL, Ruby, Python, etc.)
- Intermediate to advanced Linux and/or UNIX knowledge
- Experience performing load tests, capacity planning, and application configuration on the following Operating Systems: Linux (Redhat)
- Experience with client connectivity (MS SQL, MQ, DB2, ECI, ODBC, JDBC, etc.)
- Working knowledge of relevant network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, HTTP, FTP, SSL, PKI, Firewall and DMZ concepts)
- Knowledge of web technologies and concepts (session cookies certificates encryption etc)
- Working knowledge of operating system administration and problem determination skills
- Solid understanding of Java concepts
- Working knowledge of databases and database concepts (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, DB2)
- Tactical/Strategic planning and development of strategy documents (both technical and business factors considered)
