The Senior Web Developer/Manager is responsible for oversight of the website technical capabilities and supports the execution of digital marketing initiatives. This role will collaborate with web content managers, user interface designers, technology partners, external agencies, marketing strategists, and product managers to create, execute and enhance an exceptional online experience. Excellent working knowledge of web content management, front-end development, personalization analytics, user interface design and user experience is necessary.

  • Serve as primary line of business (LOB) liaison with technology team on enhancements to This includes supporting the development and approval of technology requirements, coordination of user acceptance testing, third party vendor negotiations, and deployment process.
  • Advise on operational process improvement and resource planning. Continually work to improve operational efficiency and service level agreement response time for projects and maintenance.
  • Ensure continual website governance standards are being met, including but not limited to WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards, WC3 development standards, regulatory guidelines, compliance and legal policies, content accuracy and branding (look and feel) and content quality/voice
  • Develop and coordinate execution of site personalization strategy
  • Enhance user experience through consultation and partnership with content managers, vendors and partners to implement best in class solutions
  • Proactively conduct and communicate industry research to stay current on best practices in emerging innovative technologies, web user experience, competitor benchmarking, and digital marketing.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 7 years previous work experience in web development and website management
  • Extensive experience developing content management systems, specifically component-based systems. Razor templates/SDL Tridion preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with mobile/responsive website principles, Adobe Audience Manager and Launch, current ADA standards, web marketing concepts, and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, time and relationship management skills, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrates project management skills, ability to effectively manage and execute numerous projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Ability to proactively drive issues and defects to resolution
  • Proven ability to provide insights and recommendations to partners and stakeholders on the best approach to meeting digital marketing goals

  • Front-End Development (UX/UI) experience
  • Experience with CMS development, SmartTarget, and Zoovu
  • Adobe Analytics, Launch, Target, and Audience Manager experience
  • Ability to utilize data/analytics to determine site enhancements/changes
  • Experience conducting code reviews
  • Prior experience leading regression testing/UA Testing
  • Ability to synthesize specific website performance metrics (page speed, time to interactive, minification/image compression, etc.) into actionable strategies
  • Experience in client servicing and vendor/agency management
