Position Title: Senior Sales Manager Foreign Exchange (within Enterprise Payments and Analytics)

Job DescriptionPrimary responsibilities include the development and execution of strategic and tactical sales plans for a regional foreign exchange team that are aligned with overall corporate strategy. This position has responsibility for driving and deepening client relationships and FX sales revenue as a player-coach through strong internal partnerships, outside prospecting and management of the sales process. A Senior FX Sales Manager has supervisory responsibilities to oversee that the sales team meets all compliance requirements of the Swap-Dealer. This is a senior leadership position within the foreign exchange and payments group, and the person will be an instrumental contributor to the overall strategy of the Foreign Exchange Group including working with the FX Product and Innovation Team to help identify new channels, product commercialization and opportunities related to industry evolution such as in the Fintech space.
Essential Functions - Drive new business opportunities through effective execution and management of the sales process:
- Establish measurable goals and objectives aligned with and in support of corporate priorities
- Regularly review individual marketer sales activities including reinforcement of best practices and active coaching to elevate skills of team members
- Demonstrate executive presence and effectiveness in working with c-suite executives
- Assist clients and prospects to identify FX exposure, generate strategies for managing risk and then effectively execute the selected solution
- Coach team members to use a consultative and needs assessment-based approach to understand the strategic objectives of clients and the financial impact of each product.
- Assist the FX sales professionals with idea generation and creation of high-quality analytical materials that demonstrate subject matter expertise
- Create memorable and differentiated client experiences leveraging corporate events and quality educational programs for clients to deepen relationships
- Directly collaborate with FX sales professionals to determine most effective strategy for significant deals working with trading and operations to ensure outstanding execution
- Develop strategies for attracting, recruiting, developing and retaining talent
- Create a team environment with high employee engagement
- Support professional development of team members and self
- Establish a network of industry professionals from which to attract and recruit new talent
- Establish strong internal partnerships throughout the organization in support of FX activities:
- Promote a one-team culture with our trading, product and operations colleagues
- Partner closely with the Payment Advisors to coordinate and deliver a differentiated and high-value payments experience to clients and prospects
- Understand credit policies and work closely with underwriting, credit and relationship officers to establish required credit facilities in support of FX activity
- Maintain a regular cadence of communication and engagement with the bankers and especially leaders of the businesses which FX supports to establish business development priorities and leverage FX to drive new franchise opportunities
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to
- Complete NFA Associated Person Certification
- Ensure the all team members maintain up-to-date business records as required
- Review and sign-off daily and quarterly that all sales and transaction activity meets the compliance requirements of the Swap-Dealer
- Promote a culture of strong risk management
- Actively seek opportunities for continual evolution and efficiency of our operations
- Gain insight on successes and challenges through partner and client feedback
- Maintain market and competitive awareness by attending industry meetings, analyzing client surveys, reviewing industry publications, and conferring directly with clients and prospects.
- Assist the product team by providing product ideas and evaluating vendor performance
Required Qualifications- Bachelors degree in business or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with foreign exchange and/or global payment products
- Working knowledge of foreign exchange products and services and the management and mitigation of related risks
- Previous management and/or coaching experience
- Fluency with fundamental and technical factors and their effect on markets
- Results driven/motivated self-starter

- Excellent organization, communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to analyze and synthesize data sets and industry trends

Preferred Qualification- Familiarity with common trading platforms such as Reuters, Bloomberg, FXAll, 360T and others
- In depth knowledge of the cross-border payments industry
- Experience in corporate foreign exchange or FinTech industry
- Credentials such as MBA, NFA Swap-Dealer Associated Person Certification
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
