ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF):
Entry level sales position accountable for revenue growth and profitability with gradual goal expectations over a defined three year time period. Responsible for servicing and expanding existing and new client relationships based upon clients’ business and personal financial needs. Incumbents in the role will learn and develop sales process skills and techniques in order to develop and retain new business. The role will develop strategic relationships with all Key lines of business in order to effectively refer business and leverage partnerships to deepen and enrich the client experience. The RM I is on a three year production ramp with full goal allocation at the end of year three. The production ramp is as follows: Year 1 – no goal, Year 2 – 45% goal, Year 3 – 75% goal.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Develops focused strategies for retaining and growing existing clients. Provides the client with information in key product areas: cash management, derivatives, equipment finance, etc. Utilizes product knowledge to educate the client on Key's capabilities and identifies potential opportunities. Coordinates with product specialists and clients to make smart business decisions for the client and the bank. Assembles cross- functional team to quickly respond to customer requests when not able to address requests personally. Identifies cross- sell opportunities. Partners with Product Specialists to cross- sell credit and non- credit products/services, maximizing profitability of assigned portfolio. Solves internal obstacles and functions as the go- to person for the client, under tutelage of Relationship Manager. Acts as client advocate while adhering to sound business practices. Analyzes management, product, competitive, economic and other non- financial data to maintain understanding of the client's business and industry. Partners effectively with Credit Officers, as the first level sponsor for credit decisions and to provide underwriting support for the team. Leads and participates in assessing risk and all credit processes which ensure sound asset quality, including underwriting, structuring and portfolio management activities on the preparation of all Asset Quality Reports and new Risk Rating models to assure accurate risk assessment of assigned portfolio. Resolves out of formula situations on borrowing base facilities. Prepares client proposals and reviews, identifies opportunities for presenting unsolicited solutions and advice. Manages account relationships as assigned. Functions as the primary back- up for Relationship Manager(s). Acts as liaison with Service Officers and Monitoring Officer to assure compliance with operating and loan agreements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance or related field. Minimum 3 - 5 years of financial services related experience. Excellent client relationship skills and superior partnering skills. Deep knowledge of bank products. Demonstrated sound credit, analytical skills and financial acumen. Established excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to use applicable equipment, which may include: PC, Microsoft Office and various Key proprietary systems e.g. Desktop, etc.
