Job Description

Quantitative Analytics Sr. Associate, Risk Modeling & Analytics to work in Cleveland, OH (multiple positions): Participate in all stages of model development from model methodology and framework design, data preparation, segmentation, model development, model testing and calibration. Design and develop models utilizing machine learning, artificial intelligence and advanced statistical modeling techniques (such as logistic regression and random forest) in order to understand customer behavior to benefit company marketing, risk, and operations departments. Analyze results and extrapolate data to make meaningful connections between concepts in order to turn raw data into actual meaningful insights. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to all levels of management and answer specific questions regarding the findings and communications. Communicate and interact with business unit leaders to gather information and better understand their risk exposures, portfolios and modeling needs. Perform data engineering research using data sources and skills in order to develop, advance and invent new ways and means of utilizing and engineering data for business use. Develop strategy leveraging advanced analytical techniques, such as machine learning, within the banking context. Collaborate with other members of the newly developed team by designing various ad hoc quantitative, modeling and data engineering studies to gather insights. Requires a Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Biomedical Engineering (or equivalent based on evaluation of academic credentials, training and/or experience) as well as twelve (12) months in job or job related experience to include job duties listed above. Experience may have been gained before, during or after degree. Opportunity to work from home.
