POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Mosaic Account Manager is responsible for relationship development, product adoption, and revenue generation through the facilitation of the Mosaic product suite among KBCM’s Institutional Investor client base in New York and Boston. The Mosaic product provides access to private company executives and senior technologists, early identification of industry inflections, and on the ground perspectives on key technology themes. The Senior Mosaic Account Manager will serve as a partner to the Institutional Equity Sales team responsible for integrating the Mosaic product suite into client’s research process, developing meaningful client relationships, and growing account revenue. They will contribute to the development, structuring, and execution of overall account strategies in conjunction with the Institutional Equity Sales and Mosaic Product teams. The Senior Account Manager will be based in New York and will travel to Mosaic’s HQ in Portland, OR regularly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Responsible for establishing and building relationships with Institutional Investors within North America.
  • Meaningfully contribute to the expansion of existing business and business development opportunities by providing industry specific information to clients and customized solutions through the Mosaic product suite.
  • Regularly present the Mosaic platform to prospects and clients to increase awareness of the Mosaic brand and influence adoption and usage of products and services.
  • In conjunction with internal resources, assist in the design and delivery of customized solutions and provide valuable input for innovation around products and services that will lead to growth in usage and revenue from assigned client base.
  • Manage and develop partnerships with the KBCM Institutional Equity Sales team members in support of client account growth and overall value.
  • Ensure timely educational interactions between industry leaders and clients to allow clients to make more informed and confident business decisions.
  • Distribute new products and services to current users and actively manage client feedback to ensure client value and engagement in addition to Mosaic product standards.
  • Develop account plans and revenue growth strategy for assigned accounts.
  • Deliver outstanding client service measured by the levels of professionalism, responsiveness, knowledge, and accuracy.
  • Work with internal support team to ensure full adherence of legal compliance requirements and recommend improvements to processes and procedures.
  • Track and report key performance metrics and perform within desired results.
  • Work in a team environment and provide mentoring and work direction to less experienced team members to ensure excellence in service and value.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Preferred 5-7 years industry experience in a similar role such as Institutional Sales, Third-Party Research Sales, or Account Management with demonstrated success and existing institutional client relationships
  • Natural and demonstrated interest in technology and technology trends
  • Willingness to take risks and overcome potential failures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a desire to work within a team environment
  • Ability to work with executives at all levels
  • Strong comprehension of institutional equity and financial markets
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organization
  • Self motivated and demonstrated ability to take ownership of all aspects of position
  • Mastery of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to travel domestically 20%
  • NASD Series 7 and 63
