Job Description

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for expanding and developing business relationships with mutual fund and hedge fund clients in the New York region. They will partner with the Institutional Equity Sales team and have direct responsibility for integrating the Mosaic product suite into the client’s research process, developing meaningful account relationships, driving usage and event attendance, and growing revenue. They will contribute to the development, structuring, and execution of overall account and regional strategy in conjunction with the Institutional Equity Sales and Mosaic team.

  • Responsible for establishing and building relationships with Institutional Investors within the New York region.
  • Contribute to the expansion of new and existing business opportunities by providing industry specific information to clients and customized solutions through the Mosaic product suite.
  • Regularly present to prospective and existing clients to increase awareness of the Mosaic brand and influence adoption and usage of Mosaic’s products and services.
  • Hosting Mosaic events in the New York region between Mosaic industry leaders and Mosaic clients.
  • In conjunction with internal resources, assist in the design and delivery of customized solutions and provide valuable input for innovation around products and services that will lead to growth in usage and revenue from assigned client base.
  • Manage and develop partnerships with the KeyBanc Capital Markets Institutional Equity Sales team members in support of client account growth and overall value.
  • Ensure the timely educational interactions between industry leaders and clients to permit clients to make more informed and confident business decisions.
  • Push out new products and services to current users and actively manage client feedback to ensure client value and engagement in addition to Mosaic product standards.
  • Develop account plans and revenue growth strategy for assigned accounts.
  • Deliver outstanding client service measured by the levels of professionalism, responsiveness, knowledge, and accuracy.
  • Work with internal support team to ensure full adherence of legal compliance requirements and recommend improvements to processes and procedures.
  • Track and report key performance metrics and perform within desired results.
  • Team-wide collaboration. Work closely with colleagues on business development and event opportunities.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • A minimum of 5-10 years industry experience in finance, consulting or professional services and technical industries
  • Natural and demonstrated interest in technology and technology trends
  • Willingness to take risks and overcome potential failures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a desire to work within a team environment
  • Ability to work with executives at all levels
  • Strong comprehension of institutional equity and financial markets
  • Strong problem solving and business development skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organization
  • Self motivated and demonstrated ability to take ownership of all aspects of position
  • Mastery of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to travel domestically 20%
