Job Description


The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the project workflow of the Client Communications program. This includes opening projects, tracking progress, closing out projects, developing reports in the workflow management tool (Workfront) as well as developing client communication plans and tactics.

Work with a cross functional team including Marketing Managers, Product, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Legal, Risk, outside advertising agencies and more. As part of the Client Communications team, this role will be responsible for:
  • Implementing Client Communication projects across various lines of business.
    • Ability to think through client communications message from start to finish. This includes drafting & finalizing main message points to create an entire client letter/email based on target audience and brand voice.
    • Coordinate feedback and rounds of edits between project stakeholders.
    • Partner with internal teams and/or outside agency to send and implement targeted client communications
  • Responsible for keeping detailed project plan current with all notes, project updates, status.
    • Establish timelines and track progress for each communications project in Workfront.
    • Update Workfront with required status and other information to ensure accurate record keeping.
    • Ensure projects do not exceed timelines and budget
  • Responsible for collecting and sharing project plans and meeting notes to project stakeholders
  • Produce Workfront reports relating to Client Communications projects.
    • Developing progress & data reports based off project plan for distribution to senior management and executives.
  • Responsible for managing all client communications compliance approvals in our compliance system of record (Workfront).
  • Work with risk, legal and compliance to ensure that client facing materials and communications are reviewed and approved as per regulatory requirements and meet compliance guidelines.
  • Responsible for managing the client statement message calendar and developing the statement messages as needed.
  • Partnering with project stakeholders to develop additional marketing tactics required for communications projects.
  • Minimum of 5 -7 years marketing and or project management
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or business-related field
  • Banking or financial services experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of Workfront project management tool is a plus
  • Experience working across many cross-functional teams
  • Strong project management skills, along with the ability to apply focus and discipline while managing multiple priorities
  • Solid verbal and written communications skills
  • The ability to manage critical details and move complex projects forward while maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen
