Job Description

Laurel Road, a brand of Key Bank, is part of the expanding FinTech space: we offer Mortgages, Student Loans, and Personal Loans through a digital online experience, https://www.laurelroad.com. We simplify the process for both borrowers and bankers, while increasing choices of products, improving tracking, and offering a positive banking experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES::

  • Ownership of several partners, along with partner marketing support for our most strategic partners
  • Ownership of the partnership marketing calendar, directing, planning and coordinating marketing efforts
  • Support of new product launches throughout existing partner channels
  • Event planning and management at partnership conferences
  • Monitoring of partner content as it relates to Laurel Road to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Working with the Director of Partnerships to deliver marketing campaigns across marketing channels
  • Acting as the point person for the marketing team, delivering on successful and high impact marketing campaigns across mediums (digital, social media, direct mail, and print)
  • Interact with the business development team to provide support, especially for prospecting at the beginning of the process and onboarding/launching new partners
  • Ongoing review of competitor activity and best practices, with the ability to bring key learnings into practice
  • Implementing comprehensive analysis and reporting processes to evaluate the performance of the campaigns and initiatives

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Experience with creating a marketing campaign, marketing strategy, and marketing plan
  • Well versed in offline and online marketing tactics, including social media, events, and content marketing
  • Enthusiasm for planning and execution, a creative thinker that wants to follow through on seeing ideas come to life
  • Highly curious, always looking for new opportunities to improve the business and practices
  • Ability to build trust and credibility, across all levels of the organization and with partners
  • A strong marketing orientation, with an openness to be involved in business development
  • Analytical thinker, focused on optimizing customer experience and success
  • The highest standards of quality and professionalism for yourself which motivates the same in those around you
  • Experience in financial sector preferred, FinTech a plus as is experience working with marketing partnerships

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

☐ High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

☒ College degree or equivalent work experience.

☐ Advanced degree or equivalent experience.

Required Years of Work Experience: 3 years relevant experience

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE FOR THIS JOB:

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications or related field (strongly preferred);
  • Experience in financial sector preferred, FinTech a plus
