Job Description

The Full Stack Database Engineer V will help bring clarity and structure to the transformation efforts of the distributed DBMS platforms within the KeyBank environment. The candidate will leverage both their technology and leadership skill sets as they partner across the Infrastructure Delivery Organization to architect, design, implement and automate an infrastructure-as-a-service model for distributed DBMS services. Oracle DBA skillset is the primary skill requirement; however, a working knowledge or conceptual understanding of the Microsoft SQL Server DBMS is preferred as well.

Technical Skillset Required
Deep experiences managing the Oracle DBMS platform within a large enterprise environment
Deep experiences performing and optimizing common Oracle database administration tasks in support of service delivery
Strong track record of successful use of the following Oracle DBMS functionalities: Multitenant, Data Guard, Partitioning, etc.
Hands-On experiences using common Oracle DBMS administration tools: Oracle OEM / OID
Hands-on experiences with DevOps database automation practices using Ansible and integration into the Oracle stack
Application DBA skillset that allows for partnership with development customer base for database performance tuning engagements
Working knowledge of the Microsoft SQL Server DBMS platform within a large enterprise environment

Secondary Skillset Items (Not required, but helpful)
Experience with alternative RDBMS Products like: Postgres & MariaDB
Experience with alternative DB Platforms like: MongoDB, CockroachDB, etc.
