ABOUT THE JOB

The Enterprise Risk Analyst for Enterprise & Operational Risk Management will provide tactical/analytical support and research to a team of risk professionals supporting Key’s Strategic Risk and BID Programs, as well as 1st and 2nd Line of Defense stakeholders. The candidate will partner with a team of line of business (LOB) and second line of defense risk professionals to ensure effective and efficient risk assessments of new, modified, or expanded product offerings. Candidate will have the opportunity to design/enhance/influence processes that maintain adherence to regulatory requirements while fostering ease, value, and expertise. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for developing customized reports to assess risk trends and improvement opportunities. Candidate must establish effective business relationships, displaying an ability to interact and promote a good day-to-day rapport with 1st, 2nd and 3rd Line of Defense Stakeholders throughout the organization. Candidate must exhibit initiative, and be able to identify needed enhancements to current process flows and help to implement change.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Serve as the day-to-day administrator of Key’s new, modified, and expanded product approval process (Business Initiative Decision [BID] Program).
  • Effectively collaborate with applicable stakeholders in both the 1st and 2nd LOD and maintain effective business relationships.
  • Compile quarterly reporting for Key’s Tier II Risk Committees and Enterprise Risk Management Committee (ERMC) on the status and risk profile of product offerings within the BID Program.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of submitted documentation and provide quarterly scorecard results to ensure compliance with BID Program standards.
  • Maintain an understanding of LOB and Executive Risk Profiles
  • Keep abreast of new and emerging industry rules, regulations, best practices and trends.
  • Effectively and professionally interact with senior management, regulatory agency personnel, internal legal counsel, internal risk review personnel as well as risk management peers.
  • Develop department procedures to support governance monitoring processes and assist in the review, update and enhancement of risk management policies and procedure standards.
  • Perform risk data analysis and/or develop customized reporting as requested.
  • Assist with other asks as required to ensure team objectives are achieved, even where outside usual area of responsibility.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of industry-related experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, and rules impacting the financial services industry
  • Strong ability to work with all levels of management within the company
  • Experience working/managing projects across multiple functional areas and dealing with multiple business partners
  • Experience working on initiatives that require strategic planning/thinking
  • Flexibility to switch priorities based on the needs of the company in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to grasp complex processes quickly and be able to identify risks and compensating controls
  • Excellent problem solving abilities and results oriented; able to make decisions independently
  • Proven ability to work as a team
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others
  • Strong analytical/research skills coupled with ability to effectively summarize findings
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and communicate changing requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Self motivated
  • Proficient PC skills with experience in Microsoft Office, Outlook and, SharePoint
