Job Brief:
Lead analysis of aggregate, enterprise information through coordination with various Line of Business and Support area functions including Risk Management partners to drive risk insights and deliver timely reports and presentations to leadership. Must demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, presentation and report preparation and communication in addition to working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to build and maintain relationships, influence and drive change with a wide range of internal providers of information, providing effective review and challenge. Must be able to convey information concisely demonstrating understanding of data, identifying trends and applying appropriate escalation requirements. Projects and reporting are of a scope and complexity that usually impact multiple Lines of Business as well as functional areas, may have executive sponsorship. Strong organization skills and ability to deliver to timeline are required. Position will support Risk Management in Tier II Risk Governance Committee coordination and reporting in addition to ERMC and Board reporting. This position reports directly to the Director—Enterprise & Operational Risk Management.

  • Mine and explore available data and information from various Risk Management and Line of Business information sources to identify issues requiring further research, reporting or escalation.
  • Demonstrates understanding and ability to use technology tools to provide analysis, documentation support, revision controls, etc.
  • Develop, update and maintain reports and presentations as necessary.
  • Perform analysis and effectively communicate results, insights and recommendations to management, providing succinct and actionable reports suitable for Committee presentation.
  • Participate in developing system/process enhancements to improve the identification, management, escalation and reporting of risk and to achieve business objectives.
  • Risk support for various operational or enterprise risk programs, assigned lines of business and support areas including acting as operational, reputational or strategic risk subject matter expert as may be required.
  • Participate in and facilitate information sharing with your manager, team members, business partners and peers in a timely and effective manner.
  • Gain and maintain a working understanding of applicable regulations and laws, industry trends, emerging issues and themes.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, legal or related field.
  • 3-8 years of financial institution and/or risk management experience
  • Experience working/managing projects across multiple functional areas and dealing with multiple business partners
  • Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, able to influence
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong presentation and reporting development skills.
  • Well-developed relationship building skills.
  • Ability to comprehend compliance laws and regulations
