Job Description

This role will focus on conversational UI (virtual assistants, chat and voice interfaces) and creating consistent, innovative experiences across channels. The preferred candidate is one who enjoys working within an Agile team environment, influencing the long term direction of our solutions, and possesses a curiosity to learn and understand business and customer processes.

You will be challenged to create solutions for customer facing applications and to facilitate solutions for employees and business process optimization. You'll be part of an innovative team that specializes in using the latest technologies to provide best-in-class solutions to emerging business needs. Our solutions range from telephony, speech-enabled solutions to digital chat and text – supported by artificial intelligence and machine learning.


  • Work with Product Owner to develop and document design requirements
  • Translate requirements into user experience design
  • Create conversational user interface (CUI) designs
  • Create interaction models, wireframes, user task flows, screen designs, and UI details that promote ease of use and optimize the user experience.
  • Work with development teams to ensure that end product matches designs
  • Lead design work and providing oversight/direction to other members on the team
  • Creating product prototypes
  • Consult with internal clients to understand their goals
  • Content development
  • Conduct usability testing and report findings
  • Analyze user feedback and iterate designs to enhance the user experience
  • Promote a risk-aware culture; ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.

Required skills:

  • Experience designing user-centric natural language-enabled interaction flows across a variety of usability contexts
  • Knowledge of the technical differences between speaking and writing
  • Strong communication, time-management, and process management skills
  • Continuously researching and educating self of current design trends
  • Designing UX/UI/CUI that can accommodate to a wide range of demographics
  • Proven UI design track record, strong visual design skills (typography, composition, color, etc.) and good understanding of best practices and current design tools
  • Proficiency with Adobe creative suite and other relevant design tools
  • Proficiency with various wireframe and prototype tools
  • Proficiency with responsive design techniques
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and communicate progress and expected milestones
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies
  • Amazing team player with a hyper focus on the customer
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
