Job Brief:
Plays a leadership role in providing ongoing production support, project support, vendor management, business analysis and subject matter expertise for assigned support areas within Payment & Deposit Operations. Apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify and resolve application issues.
The analyst lead is often the key point person on the different options available to solve a business challenge. The candidate is expected to be completely familiar with the details of the system and be able to refer team members to the appropriate system documentation. This reference material typically includes step-by-step procedural guides, overview material, field specific definitions, explanation of reporting functions, and training material. In addition to the standard documentation, the analyst should also be compiling internal documentation to keep track of changes to the system.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business/related field or equivalent work experience.
Ability to support a minimum of 2 Gold Tier PDO applications, fundamental knowledge of computers; mainframe, personal and distributed.
Demonstrated leadership skills
Demonstrated technology/systems aptitude.
Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Project, Outlook
Proven ability to build successful working relationships with clients and partners.
Proven ability to lead small projects and initiatives to successful completion.
Excellent organization skills including the proven ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and implement initiatives.
Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience in working with cross line of business teams, Outside Service Providers and Partner Organizations.
Ability to provide 24/7 on-call support

Essential Job Function:
Performs business analysis for assigned applications & support areas applications include mainframe, PC, distributed systems and/or web-based applications.
Plays a leadership role in providing ongoing production support for a minimum of 2 Gold Tier PDO applications and processes; performs problem reporting, tracking, resolution, root cause analysis and identification of preventative measures. Keep potential client impact in focus during problem resolution and consider the Bank’s clients utilizing products supported by Key Bank, including any potential impacts, when participating in projects or when implementing or enhancing processes; may include direct contact with the Bank’s clients.
Leads and coordinates small/medium projects and initiatives; provides subject matter expertise, business analysis and support for small to large scale projects, including but not limited to analyzing and defining scope and business requirements, identifying and resolving project issues, testing, implementing and supporting installations.
Acts as system consultant to PDO Functional Areas and Lines of Business relative to new products and initiatives. Assist in testing and implementing enhancements as needed; such as, system updates, conversions, consolidations, support of new or changed products, mainframe operating system upgrades, etc.
Demonstrate strong analytical and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Translates technical material to the PDO Process Areas and Lines of Business.
Maintains knowledge and expertise in assigned PDO processes, supporting applications and their interfaces.
Builds relationships and communicates effectively with the PDO Process Areas, Lines of Business, Key Technology, Vendors and other Support Partners.
Document and organize reusable test scripts to be used when performing configuration changes and upgrades.
Develop and maintain application support documentation for the bank’s suite of applications.
Support PDO Third Party Managers (TPM) with all GRC tasks related to TPM management including: organizing & tracking TPM action item completion, communicating with vendors, scorecard development, partnering with TPM Risk resources, coordinating Vendor review meetings, participating in all GRC related activities and all aspects of invoicing for assigned Vendors (if applicable to role)
Consider and communicate or escalate processing risks and internal controls during or resulting from ongoing production problems and when participating in projects or when implementing or enhancing operational processes.
Mentors less experience business analysts by training in best practices and supporting, developing and/or maintaining training programs.
Assist in the development and annual certification of Corporate Continuity and Recovery Plans.
Support teams in review of and response to Audit findings as needed.
Proactively identify and implement areas of improvement in all aspects of current functions.
